The Christian life is a journey of transformation—a process of becoming more like Christ. Paul describes this beautifully in 2 Corinthians 3:18, saying, “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
God takes us from glory to glory, step by step, refining and shaping us through every season of life. This transformation isn’t always immediate or easy. Sometimes, it feels like we’re stuck, or even moving backward. But God is always at work, even when we don’t see it.
Each challenge we face, each step of faith we take, is a part of His process to make us more like Jesus. From moments of weakness to victories of faith, He uses it all to draw us closer to His heart and reveal His glory in and through us.
As we walk with Him, we can trust that the journey is worth it. The glory we experience today is just a glimpse of the greater glory to come—both in this life and in eternity.
Question to Ponder:
How can you trust God’s transforming work in your life, even when the process feels slow or challenging?
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for transforming me from glory to glory. Even when I can’t see it, I trust that You are working in my life to make me more like Jesus. Help me to remain faithful in the process, and to reflect Your glory in all I do. Strengthen me in the challenges, and remind me that the journey with You is worth it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
